Winter 2012 Chastity Project: Help us to reach more than 100,000 college women with the message of chastity!
It isn't easy for college students to maintain their purity. One college junior explained: "You know what it means when a guys says he wants to come over and hang out. He's not taking you to dinner."
Across the country, the phenomenon of casual sex and “hooking up” has replaced the practice of dating and courtship. A sociologist from Stanford reported that 72% of both sexes reported having at least one hookup during college, with the average of 9.7 for men and 7.1 for women! This means that three out of every four college students are engaging in meaningless sexual behavior.
“Meghan” admitted: “I hooked up with a total of five guys this summer. I’ll admit that I never got a relationship, I just got used repetitively.” Another college girl cried out to us in an email: “I just want to feel like myself again, and not some pathetic person who degrades herself to please boys who don’t care about me.”
Here’s how we plan to help them:
We want to send a copy of the book "How to Find Your Soulmate without Losing Your Soul" to every Catholic College, every Catholic High School, every College Newman center, and every diocesan director of youth and young adult ministry.
AND then, we will provide them as many copies of the book as they wish for only $2 each!
Some campus ministers are already buying cases of the books and passing them out in the dorms. One young women even broke off her engagement after reading it! Another student said, “This came at just the right time for me!”
We need your help!
In order to send free copies of the book to more than 2000 leaders, we’ll need to raise approximately $15,000.
